General information: Started in 1966, Patio Enclosures was acquired by the GDIC Group, a Cleveland-based private equity firm, in 2011. Under the Great Day Improvements banner, the company has moved to become a full service remodeling firm, with Patio Enclosures as a leading brand. At the beginning of 2013, Great Day added Stanek Windows, a Cleveland-based vinyl replacement window manufacturer. General information: Taylor Entrance Systems was acquired at the end of 2012 by Wausau Supply Co., a distributor of building products based in Schofield, Wis.
