A quick look at window and door industry offerings in Las Vegas

Vinyl Window & Door Systems

 Chelsea Building Products was one of several vinyl extruders focusing on systems that enabled fabricators to reach R-5 performance levels. 
 Veka introduced its new elements window line, designed to provide fabricators with flexibility to achieve a variety of performance goals and offer products for several specific market niches.
 In addition to its EnergyCore window system introduced at last year's GlassBuild, Mikron Industries highlighted its new SuperCoat finish option, enabling fabricators to offer windows in a variety of exterior colors.
 Royal Window & Door Profiles featured both its high-performance window designs and its trim packages enabling customers to meet a variety of design needs.
 P.H. Tech featured a new finishing technology offering a woodgrain look on the interior.  The extruder uses a special process to add texture to the extrusions, allowing fabricators to stain the profiles in their own facilities.
 In addition to its R-5 window systems, Deceuninck North America introduced a new door program in Las Vegas.

Equipment

 The Edgetech booth showcased a variety of products the spacer supplier is offering to support its customers, including the Inagas gas-filling machine.

 

 As it did last year, Fenetech introduced some new equipment in its booth, in addition to highlighting the capabilities of its latest software.  This year, the supplier featured the new OptiGas gas filling system.
 Erdman showcased a variety of machines for applying IG and glazing sealants.
 Peter Lisec showed its automated spacer fabricating machine.
 Greller & Co. featured its latest two-headed corner cleaner.

Hardware

 John Evans' Sons was one of several exhibitors featuring new balance hardware.
 Caldwell Manufacturing featured a variety of new balance systems.
 Truth used this year's GlassBuild to launch its Sentry multipoint hardware system for hinged patio doors.
 G-U hardware also featured a vartiety of patio door hardware in its booth.
 Ashland was highlighting its combination lock and tilt latch double-hung hardware systems.

Other Products

 PPG featured a double-pane Intercept IG unit designed to enable manufacturers to reach R-5 performance.
 Vision Industries featured a variety of new hardware products, but also introduced a new security screen at this year's event.
 Interlock featured its retractable screen system, in addition to its numerous hardware products.
