AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-05 Specifications for Windows, Doors and Unit Skylights
This standard identifies requirements for windows, glass doors, skylights and, for the first time, side-hinged exterior doors. Structural integrity, water resistance, air leakage and forced entry are among the performance requirements addressed. Window and door products are divided into five classes for rating purposes, while maintaining material neutrality. Adopted as part of the 2006 International Codes, it is the successor document to 101/I.S. 2 and NAFS-02, described below. Contact AAMA, CSA or WDMA.

AAMA/NWWDA 101/I.S.2-97 Voluntary Specifications for Aluminum, Vinyl (PVC) and Wood Windows and Glass Doors
Standard encompasses aluminum, vinyl and wood products from a material-neutral, performance-oriented point of view. Standard defines requirements for five classes of windows and glass doors: Residential, Light Commercial, Commercial, Heavy Commercial and Architectural. ANSI/AAMA/WDMA NAFS-02 Voluntary Performance Specification for Windows, Skylights and Glass Doors
This standard represents the first effort to create a harmonized standard for the U.S. and Canada combining AAMA/ NWWDA 101/I.S. 2-97, AAMA/WDMA 1600/I.S. 7, and CSA A440. Contact AAMA or WDMA.

CAN/CSA A440-00 Window Standard
Canadian specification covering testing and performance requirements for fixed and operating, factory-built windows. Includes optional section on energy rating of windows. Also includes specifications for window

ANSI/WDMA I.S. 1A-04 Architectural Wood Flush Doors
New standard replacing ANSI/WDMA I.S. 1A-97, the document is designed to allow more accurate assessment of the right door for the job. Previous versions dealt with aesthetic grades, while the new standard now adds three performance duty levels. Included are eight performance attributes that classify a door and its construction into the various levels: adhesive bond, cycle slam, hinge loading, door finishes, screwholding (door face, vertical and horizontal edge), telegraphing, warp tolerance and squareness. ANSI/WDMA I.S. 6-A-01 Architectural Wood Stile & Rail Doors
Standard covers wood stile-and-rail doors used in architectural applications. It establishes quality levels

NWWDA T.M.-7-90 Cycle-Slam Test Method
Test method determining the physical endurance of wood doors and associated hardware connections under accelerated operating conditions. Test indicates what effects hard impacts upon closing (slamming)
and cycling can be on the door and door hardware.

AAMA/WDMA 1600/I.S.7-00 Voluntary Specification for Skylights
Specifications include material and finish requirements, as well as performance requirements for air
infiltration, water resistance and structural loading. Skylights covered are residential and commercial factory-glazed assemblies shipped complete for installation in a roof opening.
