The Window & Door Manufacturers Association has set the agenda for its 2012 spring meeting and legislative conference, scheduled for March 5-7 in Washington, D.C. Keynote speakers at the event will be Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.) and Congressman Greg Walden (R-Ore.).

The conference begins Monday, March 5, with WDMA's annual membership meeting, as well as committee sessions. The first day will also feature the WDMA PAC Fundraising Luncheon, a separate ticketed event that will feature Alex Castellanos, a GOP political strategist and CNN political analyst. A cocktail reception is also planned for Monday evening.

On Tuesday, March 6, the schedule is designed for WDMA members to visit representatives and staff on Capitol Hill, as well as various federal agency officials. The morning begins with an issue briefing breakfast featuring Sen. Hoeven and Rep. Walden. WDMA officials will then follow with a more detailed review of key WDMA issues, such as the EPA lead paint rule and a number of green building issues.

Wednesday, March 7, will feature a WDMA board of directors meeting, as well as technical committee meetings.

More information about the event, including a detailed schedule, is available at the conference website.
