I can’t imagine most of us spent our childhoods dreaming of growing up to work in the window and door industry. I love hearing “how I stumbled into the industry and never left” stories at meetings and trade shows because we all have our own journey into the fenestration realm.
The question, I guess, is will folks keep joining us under our umbrella? Will the window and door industry be able to continue to attract the best and brightest of the next blogging, gaming, texting, ladder-climbing generation?
I’d like to hear from some of the young bucks in the industry—why are you here, and what makes it a place you’ll likely stay? And if you’re not so young, drop a line and tell me about some of the younger superstars at your company. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that there’s a sizeable pool from which you can draw inspiration!
