Armaclad Windows & Doors Ceases Operations

Armaclad Windows & Doors, headquartered in Chicago, has ceased operations, according to a statement on its website. The manufacturer, which employed more than 125 people, provided vinyl replacement windows; residential and commercial fiberglass windows; acoustical windows and doors; vinyl and fiberglass sliding patio doors; high-performance IG units and fiberglass entry doors. A division of Sound Solutions, the manufacturer had locations in Chicago; Elmhurst, Ill.; Maryland and Colorado. 

Company owner Ronald Spielman told local news he had no plans to relocate the factory and was liquidating the company’s assets.
