Architectural Testing Inc. has opened a new Houston office to serve as home base for a mobile field testing unit, as well as forensic investigation services to the Greater Houston and South Texas/Louisiana area. The new facility also provides a convenient local platform for plant inspection services for area manufacturers participating in ATI’s certification programs, officials note.

Heading the facility as project manager is Paul Schuyler, professional architect with a 14-year track record in building envelope design and detailing. Schuyler, who is bi-lingual in Spanish, is also a LEED Accredited Professional with international practice experience.

The Houston office augments Architectural Testing’s full service laboratory in Fort Worth, Texas. “The services now available from the Houston office are in increasing demand as both designers and building owners seek to ensure the intended installed performance of complex building envelope systems, and to identify the source of post-occupancy problems that could surface with performance liability implications,” states Dan Braun, ATI's vice president for regional operations.
