Bomb Threat Leads to Evacuation at Andersen Plant

A building at Andersen Corp.'s manufacturing facility in Bayport, Minn., was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat, according to local news reports.  Workers were cleared to return around noon after a police search found nothing suspiscious. 

The Pioneer Press reports that the evacuation was triggered early in the morning, when an employee found a note saying there would be an explosion.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribue reports that a team of bomb-sniffing dogs from St. Paul searched the facility for serveral hours and found nothing.  The newspaper noted that a company statement did not disclose any details about the threat, including who made it, how it was communicated or what motivated it.
