Cascade Windows, based in Spokane, Wash.,  and LbL Windows, based in Troutdale, Ore., are merging.  The newly-combined company becomes one of the leading window manufacturers in the Northwest, with one of the most extensive window and door product lines available anywhere, officials state.

With manufacturing operations in Spokane and Salt Lake City, Cascade provides a full line of vinyl windows and patio doors for builders, dealers, and homeowners. A 2009 Window & Door Top 100 Manufacturer, Cascade services most of the Western United States with distribution centers in Washington, Utah and Idaho. Oregon-based LbL, which produces vinyl and composite products, focuses on the replacement market.

With the merger, the company expects to increase the distribution of LbL products throughout the Mountain states via existing Cascade delivery routes.  In addition, Cascade products will be made available to LbL’s large replacement network.

“We are excited about the opportunities that will arise by combining Cascade’s recognized customer service and quality products with LbL’s standing reputation of providing high quality replacement windows.” states Randy Emerson, LbL Windows president and CEO. Greg Simpson, Cascade chairman and CEO will be joined by Emerson to form the board which will support the newly company's management.
