Crystal Pacific Window & Door Systems, the recently-formed, California-based manufacturer, has opened its corporate headquarters and established production operations at a facility in Riverside, Calif. The company has also established two sales offices to serve the Southern California market in South El Monte and San Diego.

Crystal Pacific is a new company started by Thomas Chen, founder of Crystal Window & Door Systems based in Flushing, N.Y.

Crystal Pacific’s factory and headquarters are located in an 111,000-square-foot industrial building on a nine-acre site easily accessible to highways, which enables the company to service all Southern California window markets, officials note.  The property was previously a plant for a subsidiary of Fleetwood Enterprises, the manufacturer of recreational vehicles and manufactured homes. Improvements to the production facility and corporate offices made by Crystal Pacific included upgraded energy efficient lighting, building insulation and loading dock modifications to accommodate a wide variety of truck bed heights.

The company currently employs about 30 workers at its Riverside factory, where it s fabricating vinyl windows for both replacement and new construction applications. Initially, the window manufacturer plans to use about half of the total building space, but as operations expand, it has the ability to utilize the entire building.

The two Southern California sales offices–one in South El Monte near Los Angeles and the other in San Diego–both have warehouse facilities and will soon include showrooms featuring Crystal Pacific’s vinyl window models.
