Las Vegas—Window and door and glass industry suppliers are poised to unveil a variety of new products and equipment when GlassBuild America opens today. The event kicks off a three-day run at the Las Vegas Convention Center with more than 350 exhibitors and thousands of attendees expected.

“We could not be any more excited about this year’s show," says Denise Sheehan, VP of industry events for the National Glass Association (publisher of Window & Door). "There’s been a lot of momentum leading into it, with the industry excited about seeing innovative products, taking part in major educational events, and networking with the industry. There’s no doubt that GlassBuild America is where the industry meets."

Exhibitors made final preparations for the event yesterday. The following photos provide a quick preview of window and door industry products to be featured on the floor in Las Vegas:

Lisec and Erdman are both featuring new insulating glass production lines.

Window and door hardware is being showcased by numerous suppliers, including Truth and Vision.

Vinyl extruders, including P.H. Tech, Quanex and Chelsea, are all featuring numerous colors and finishes.

New exhibitors at GlassBuild include Dusco and Euroview.

In addition, education will be a focal point with the annual Window and Door Dealers Forum, hosted by the Window & Door Dealers Alliance, being held today as well.  GlassBuild America opens today at 10:00 a.m. and runs through Friday, September 14. More details are available at the show website.

A full report on the trade show and the forum will be featured in next week's WDweekly.
