North Carolina-based Endura Products Inc. has acquired W&F Manufacturing, a hardware supplier based in Sun Valley, Calif. The acquisition, in conjunction with the recent release of its Multipoint Astragal and upcoming Multipoint Locking Frame, gives the supplier "a full complement of products to offer to [customers] in this fast growing segment of the industry," says Bruce Procton, Endura president.

A manufacturer of three-point locks and associated hardware, W&F's sales, customer support and manufacturing operations in California will continue to operate in under the direction of Rodney White, manager of Endura’s sill and component operations. Dale Moses, W&F's current customer service and marketing manager will serve as assistant general manager, and Sparky Godiksen, W&F's national sales manager, continues to lead the company's sales efforts through the transition period. Paul Fleming, W&F president for the past 14 years, will serve as a consultant.

"We will be working with current and prospective W&F customers throughout a transitional period of the next several months regarding our support with respect to the W&F product line," Procton states.

Endura manufactures a variety of entry door frame, sill and astragal products. The acquisition, Procton notes, enables Endura to provide "a broad range of performance-based locking products to meet or exceed the air, water and structural requirements" for entry door systems.

Earlier this week, Endura also announced it was adding Jim Hacket.
