Gorell Reports Continued Growth

November 15, 2010

Gorell Windows & Doors reports that sales of windows and doors over the past two months are 12.5 percent higher than the same eight-week period in 2009. Noting that the fourth quarter of 2009 was a record period for sales, the vinyl window and door maker also says it is now on pace to break that record.

Helping boost sales has been the addition a record 125 new window dealers this year, compared to 115 new accounts in 2009, company officials point out.  Some of its new dealers have come as a result of Gorell's expansion into new territories, including Colorado and New Mexico, areas the company is targeting as ideal markets for its energy-efficient windows, doors and reflective insulation.

Tyson Schwartz, VP of sales and marketing, attributes the gains to the company’s stability, its wide range of product and option offerings and also its strong performance in the areas of product energy efficiency and security. “Our windows and doors are consistently recognized for their strong thermal performance," he states. "That—and the dedication of our employees in manufacturing quality products—has helped us achieve these record gains. With the excellent growth we’ve experienced in our existing territories, our next logical expansion is further West. We’re excited to develop this new territory as well.”
