Continuing its growth throughout the Northeast, Harvey Building Products has opened the first of two new distribution and showroom facilities in Pennsylvania. Located in King of Prussia, the 50,000-square-foot branch warehouse will contain a 2,000-square-foot product showroom at which homeowners can view Harvey’s full range of manufactured and distributed building products.

“Harvey Building Products is committed to being the best independent manufacturer and wholesale distributor, providing quality products and unmatched service levels to building and remodeling professionals," says Vinnie Walsh, vice president of warehouse operations. "With the opening of this facility just north of Philadelphia, as well as another in Southampton [Pa.] in early 2009, we can extend our commitment to professional contractors and homeowners in Pennsylvania. We look forward to establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with professional partners and customers in the region and we are especially excited to increase our customer support during a challenging economy when they need it most.”

With existing facilities in Bethlehem, Lancaster, and Wilkes-Barre, the King of Prussia location will significantly extend Harvey’s coverage for Pennsylvania-based contractors.  Although Harvey sells exclusively to professional remodelers and builders through its branch warehouses, the product showrooms are open to the general public and feature interactive, consumer-friendly displays.

With the King of Prussia opening, Harvey will operate 33 facilities in New England, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
