Inline Fiberglass Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Distinctive Blinds of the Philippines to set up a manufacturing facility to produce high performance fiberglass windows and other fenestration products. The facility will be set up in Manila, with the operation expected to be up and running by spring of 2009.

"The latest agreement further solidifies our position as the most advanced and internationally recognized manufacturer with the widest range of fiberglass fenestration products" says Mike Levine of Inline. "Inline continues to lead the way when it comes to fiberglass pultrusion and window technology. The company maintains its commitment to develop new products and processes for various markets around the globe, which makes Inline so unique and a natural choice for the companies making a decision to venture into this market."

Distinctive Blinds is an international manufacturer and supplier of blinds, office systems and other related products.  A 15-year old business, the company also has interests in franchising and real estate. "After extensive research, the choice was clear," says Irene Ong, president of Distinctive Blinds. "Their past history of successful ventures along with their experience and commitment to help us succeed brought us together even in these difficult fiscal times. Our company has built its reputation on offering our clients quality products and value for their money, and we firmly believe that these principals are shared by Inline Fiberglass."

The Philippines with its population nearing 100 million and annual GDP growth of 7 to 8 percent  represents a great market opportunity for high quality building products, Inline officials note. The agreement represents the latest in step in the Canaidan company's efforts to expand in Asia, where it has joint ventures in China and a recently announced agreement in India.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Inline is a vertically integrated supplier offering fiberglass pultrusion equipment and technology, window and door pultrusions and finished products.
