Masonite Completes Marshfield Acquisition

Masonite Inc. has closed the previously announced acquisition of Marshfield DoorSystems Inc., the manufacturer of doors and door components for commercial and architectural applications. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1890, Marshfield employs approximately 600 people, with a primary facility in Marshfield, Wis., and two smaller locations in Greensboro, N.C., and Largo, Fla. Marshfield’s 2010 revenue exceeded $100 million dollars, it is reported.
