With a line that includes 12 standard sizes in three- and four-panel configurations for new construction and retrofit projects, Milgard Windows & Doors is looking to make moving glass wall systems an option for more homeowners.

"Milgard is very proud and excited to introduce this new moving glass wall system and we believe it will be a popular addition to any home," says Brian Jones, VP of marketing for the Tacoma, Wash.-based manufacturer. “The simplicity of moving a wall allows homeowners to easily reconfigure spaces to extend their living areas to the outdoors, while the design complements other Milgard windows and doors for a beautiful home package."

While moving glass walls have only been considered for high-end custom homes, Jones notes, "we've specifically developed Milgard Moving Glass Wall Systems to be obtainable by a wider range of homeowners.”

The new line is offered in a variety of aluminum colors with an option for Douglas fir or pine interiors, as well as two Low-E glass options. The doors are said to be easy to open and close due to tandem stainless steel ball bearing rollers.
