New President for Roto in North America

Roto Frank of America Inc., manufacturer of North American and European hardware for the window and door industry, has named Chris Dimou as its new president and chief executive officer.  Dimou comes to the U.S. operation Roto Frank AG’s corporate headquarters in Germany, where he held the position of corporate strategic sales manager.

In that position, he was responsible for the strategy development in the markets of North and South America and Southern Europe. Prior to that, he held management positions within international companies in Greece, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and the U.S.  In his new role, Dimou  assumes overall responsibilities for Roto’s business in North America as the company continues to make investments in manufacturing processes, new products, and partnership programs.

He will relocate from Germany and work out of Roto's Chester, Conn., office. Dan Gray, director of sales & marketing, continues to lead the sales team, consisting of six regional sales managers and several independent sales agents.

Roto Frank of America was founded in 1979 and manufactures and markets window and door hardware to manufacturers in North America. Its line includes hardware for casement/awning windows, hung/sliding windows and sliding and swinging patio doors, as well as a variety of  European options such as tilt-and-turn, tilt-and-slide and fold-and-slide hardware. 

Founded in 1935, Roto Frank is based near Stuttgart, Germany. It employs more than 3,000 people and currently operates 12 manufacturing facilities as well as 38 sales subsidiaries and partners strategically positioned around the globe.
