Thermal Line Windows, based in Mandan, N.Dak., is planning to expand.  The company will add at least 20 workers at its plant, according to a report in the Bismark Tribune.

With some financial aid from its home town, Thermal Windows plans to redesign its factory floor to accommodate another assembly line and build an addition to the plant over the next three to five years. The company is also purchasing its factory building, which it now rents.

According to the newspaper, the company is expanding to meet an an 80 percent increased demand for its replacement windows.

Thermal Line, which is owned by Kentucky-based True Home Value Inc., sells primarily in the Midwest and mid-South. It is also looking to move into more populous markets in the Northwest.  Dave Anderson, Thermal Line's CFO, told the newspaer that the expansion is an important part of its strategy. "This is the final piece of the puzzle to get us into position to meet the demand that's out there."
