Norwood Windows of Scouduc, New Brunswick, Canada, is adding the PermaPlus line to its family of fiberglass windows and doors. New to the Maritime market, the high-end line is designed to enable the manufacturer to bid on more projects due to its higher performance ratings and numerous options, including the ability to accommodate triple glazing.

The window and door manufacturer worked with Inline Fiberglass, the Toronto-based pultruder and manufacturer, to develop the new line. Inline is providing profiles for the new line, with the windows and doors to be manufactured at Norwood's facilities and marketed throughout the Maritime and Northeast U.S. by Norwood’s dealers.

In addition to the performance properties, Inline provides a good fit for Nortwood due to the ease of finding trucks to bring materials to its New Brunswick operations from Inline's Ontario plant, officials note.

Norwood, a division of West-Wood Industries, is a family-owned manufacturer producing wood and fiberglass windows and doors.  More than 60 years old, the company operates a 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility employing more than 200 people.
