Regency Window Co., based in Twinsburg, Ohio, unexpectedly discontinued operations about two weeks ago, leaving some customers wondering  about deposits and warranty issues. A company attorney has told a local newspaper that the dealer hopes to reopen soon under new ownership.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion of the past few days," stated a January 24 post on the company's Facebook page.  "We will hopefully be making an announcement soon regarding our future plans."

According to an article in the Akron Beacon Journal, Roger Steward, a Cleveland attorney for Regency, said a deal could be "wrapped up" soon to sell the company, although he could not provide further details. “I do feel customers are not going to end up being losers,” he told the newspaper.

Meanwhile, as can be seen in the video below, WKYC in Cleveland is reporting that another local dealer, Window Nation, is offering to help Regency customers who have made deposits on windows that were not delivered and/or installed.
