PPG Industries has filed a complaint against Jeld-Wen Inc., charging that the window and door manufacturer has not paid more than $75,000 in license fees for the use of PPG's Intercept IG technology.

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Western Pennsylvania, alleges that "despite several demands that it do so, Jeld-Wen has failed to make its required periodic royalty payments."   PPG is seeking damages in excess of $75,000, plus the cost of the lawsuit.

Jeld-Wen has declined to comment on the suit.

In spring of 2011, Jeld-Wen filed suit against AGC America Inc., Guardian Industries Corp., Pilkington North America and PPG Industries alleging price-fixing. That case is still pending.
