In support of National Window Safety Week, Roto Frank of America is promoting window opening control devices as a means to help protect children by limiting a window opening to less than 4 inches. Roto is the North American distributor of the Angel Ventlock, a device that complies with the ASTM F2090-2010 standard for window fall prevention devices with mechansims for emergency escape.

“Child safety is always an important topic," states Chris Dimou, CEO of the Chester, Conn.-based hardware supplier. "However, National Window Safety Week is the perfect time to raise awareness for our Angel Ventlock. Window manufacturers will find that both our face fix and retro fit options are cost-effective, attractive and easy to install.”

The line includes surface and side-mount models for new horizontal and sliding windows, as well as retrofit devices.
