Simonton Adding 65 Workers in Illinois

Vinyl window manufacturer Simonton Windows plans to hire 65 workers at its Paris, Ill.-facility immediately. The company is primarily seeking people for production operator positions in the company’s glass, glazing, vinyl and loading operations.

“We’re in a dedicated hiring mode right now,” says Russ Chaney, Simonton's Paris plant manager. “Applicants must be able to read, possess basic math skills and be able to accurately read a tape measure. As part of the application process they must also be able to pass a background check and drug test.”

New employees will the company's package of benefits after 90 days, officials note.  “This is a tremendous opportunity for people to put their skills to work at a local facility,” Chaney reports. “We’re fortunate that our work situation has mandated the need for additional workers and we’re eager to hire locally.”
