Simonton Windows has teamed with H&R Block to offer up to $150 toward preparation of an individual’s 2010 personal income tax return. The program is designed to provide remodelers and contractors nationwide another way to “close the deal” with homeowners considering a replacement window investment.

Homeowners qualify for the offer when they purchase 12 or more Simonton windows from select product lines that are eligible for the Federal Energy Tax Credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

“We’re providing remodelers and contractors with this promotion to offer homeowners another incentive to purchase energy-efficient replacement windows,” says Mark Savan, Simonton president. “We recognize that tax preparation may be a bit more challenging now for homeowners because of the new tax credits available to them, so we are offering assistance from one of the most reliable tax preparation services in the country."

The program supports the selling efforts of remodelers and contractors by providing a "trifecta of savings to homeowners," Savan continues. "With this promotion, when homeowners purchase qualifying energy-efficient windows from Simonton they could gain both the U.S. government tax credit and immediate energy bill reductions for their home. Now they also have the added opportunity to receive up to $150 toward their tax preparation fees at H&R Block. This promotion provides remodelers with more firepower to close the sale.”
