Simpson Offers New Visualization Tool

To make it easier for homeowners and building and design professionals to select the glass option with the look and privacy level that meets their needs, Simpson Door Co. now offers the Glass Taste Test. The new web-based design tool allows users to combine a specific door design with any glass type by clicking on various options available.

 
  

"We want to make it easy for people to find their perfect door," says Brad Loveless, marketing and product development manager. "With the Glass Taste Test, users can easily compare door and glass combinations to find the one they like best. Like the saying 'a picture is worth a thousand words,' the Glass Taste Test provides customers an image of a life-like setting to help see what their new door will look like."

To use the tool, users first choose whether they want a full-lite, ¾-lite, ½-lite or ¼-lite designs. Clicking on the desired door style shows a variety of door designs that fit the criteria. Users then select a specific door to see the different glass options. The tool shows doors in an entryway setting with a foyer as a backdrop to allow users to visually compare the privacy level of each glass option.
