Windsor Windows Receives Incentives to Expand in North Carolina

Windsor Windows received $326,400 worth of incentives from Monroe, N.C., and Union County, N.C., leaders to land the company’s $8 million 100,000-square-foot expansion in the area, according to The Charlotte Observer. The company employs about 200 people in Monroe, and the expansion is expected to create an additional 85-100 jobs. 

Windsor Windows, a subsidiary of Woodgrain Millwork of Fruitland, Idaho, currently has a plant in northeast Monroe, which covers 205,000 square feet. The parent company is considering adding 100,000 square feet to one of four sites in three states--North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia.
