Wood Tooling Supplier Move U.S. Production

Leitz Tooling Systems, a supplier of tooling for machining wood windows and doors, has moved its U.S. production operations from Jasper, Ind., to Grand Rapids, Mich.

Leitz will continue to operate a full-line service center in Jasper to serve the needs of customers within the region.

Leitz Tooling Systems is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Oberkochen, Germany. Providing tooling for a wide array of woodworking applications as well as other materials, the company employs 3,500 worldwide. The North American headquarters has been located in Michigan for nearly 30 years, and the company operates 10 service centers across the United States and Canada.
