The Department of Energy is hosting two windows technologies "roadmapping workshops" in June. The sessions are designed to provide updates on DOE building envelope research projects and discuss future goals and priorities for its Building Envelope R&D Program.

The first workshop is planned for June 26 at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio-Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. Scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the session is being held at a facility adjacent to meetings of the American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers building envelope committee.

The second workshop is planned for June 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hotel Sofitel Minneapolis in Bloomington, Minn. That facility is also hosting the Window & Door Manufacturers Association's Technical Conference, which concludes that same day.

Registration is required to attend either event. Those intersted can contact Walter Zalis at wzalis@energetics.com. More information about the events is available at the Building Envelope and Windows R&D Program Blog.
