EPA Finalizes Energy Star Meeting Details
Following up on the release of its 2014 criteria for Energy Star windows, doors and skylights, the Environmental Protection Agency has set the time for its in-person stakeholder meeting and the concurrent webinar. The event is scheduled for Monday, August 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern.
Organizers have also put together a draft agenda for the meeting. Discussions will focus on EPA's Draft 1 Version 6.0 Criteria Revision and Analysis, and will also include an update on a possible Most Efficient program for windows.
The in-person stakeholder meeting will be held at 1310 L St. NW in Washington, D.C. Space is limited for the in-person meeting, EPA officials note, so only one representative per company may attend. Total registration will be capped at 50 people, and as of August 10, only 25 spaces were said to be left for the in-person stakeholder meeting.
Those interested in attending the in-person stakeholder meeting are instructed to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Stakeholder Meeting Registration" in the subject line and contact information in the body of the e-mail.
EPA is also offering the opportunity for up to eight stakeholders to present formal comments at the in-person meeting. Presentations to will be limited to 10 slides and 10 minutes. Those interested in participating can send an e-mail to email@example.com with "Request to Present" in the subject line. The body of the e-mail should contain contact information and the specific presentation topicon which you plan to present. The deadline for requests is August 15.
Those interested in participating in the concurrent stakeholder webinar are instructed to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Webinar Registration" in the subject line and contact information in the body of the e-mail. Information for accessing the webinar will be provided at a later date.
The registration deadline for the meeting and the webinar is Monday, August 20.
