Marvin to Expand North Dakota Plant

June 11, 2008
Marvin Windows & Doors will expand its window facility in Grafton, N.D., from its current 256,000-square-feet to about 470,000-square-feet.

The expansion will add about 50 employees in the short term and more over the next five years, reports John Kirchner. The addition is designed to increase current production capacity and enable future growth.

Construction will begin later this month, and continue through spring 2009. The entire expansion will be completed in one phase.

“Marvin is planning for future growth by adding space for additional product lines, expanding quality assurance areas, and enhancing the overall work environment for our employees,” says Hans Halvorson, plant manager.
