IGMA Announces Winter Conference Agenda

The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance 2014 Winter Conference, to be held March 3-7 at the JW Marriott in San Francisco, will feature lunch presentations on industry technical issues, as well as networking sessions and several IGMA committee meetings. The first full day will include a meeting of the Emerging Technology and Innovation Committee at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory facility. On Wednesday, Julia Schimmelpenningh of Eastman Chemical Co. will present “Safety Glazing: Does it Make the Cut?” during lunch. The Thursday lunch presentation, “How to Measure Volatile Fog Objectively,” will be led by Dave Cooper and Jonathan Herndon of Guardian Industries. It will be followed by a panel presentation on Glass Performance for Energy Efficient Fenestration, Thursday afternoon. The remainder of the schedule will feature educational sessions for fabricators and installers, including a session on gas filling led by Randi Ernst.
