NWDA Outlines Summer Meeting Plans

Registration is now open for tne Northeast Window & Door Association's summer meeting, scheduled for July 15-16 at the Harrisburg Hilton in Pennsylvania. The event will include the annual golf outing, to be held at the nearby Liberty Forge Golf Club.
The featured speaker will be Richard Farrell, president of Tangent Knowledge Systems, who will offer a presentation on alternative sales strategies, with a focus on how companies can help minimize commoditization, reduce long selling cycles, and decrease sales force inefficiencies.
Other speakers and topics will include Mike Collins of Building Industry Advisors LLC, who will offer an overview and outlook for the window and door industry; Brenda Breighner of Materials Testing, who will discuss changes in AAMA testing criteria; and Mike Haupt of PPG Industires, who will review developments in low-E glass technology.
Also on the agenda is an optional tour of PPG Industries' nearby plant in Carlisle, Pa. Space is limited, officials note, so those interested in going should sign up as soon as possible to ensure a spot on the tour.
