NWDA Sets Agenda for Winter Meeting

The Northeast Window & Door Association has announced plans for its winter educational meeting, scheduled for January 28-29, 2013, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Mt. Laurel, N.J.

The event will begin with a welcome reception on Monday evening, January 28. The educational program on Tuesday, January 29, will feature Scott R. Hanlon, program director for the National Fenestration Rating Council, who will explain the organization's new independent verification program.  Rajeev Sharma from Industrial & Technology Assistance Corp. will follow with a discussion on manufacturing inventory control.

Also speaking will be Jon Hill, president of Keystone Certifications, who will offer an overview of changes coming with the next version of the Energy Star criteria for windows, doors and skylights, and Rick Jackson of Quanex Building Products, who will offer an update on the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating systems.
