Keynote Speaker at WDMA Executive Management Conference to Address Skilled Labor Challenge

The Window and Door Manufacturers Association Executive Management Conference, to take place October 1-2, 2013, in Cambridge, Mass., will feature keynote speaker Jim Reeb,  CEO of CR Manufacturing and Industry Champion of the Manufacturing Institute at the National Association of Manufacturing. His address, "Understanding Manufacturing's Skilled Workforce Challenge," will discuss how the Manufacturing Institute responded to the shortage of skilled labor by implementing a public-private strategy to better connect the supply of talent to employment in manufacturing grounded in industry standards and nationally-portable manufacturing certifications.

The conference will also include addresses from Jonathan Smoke, chief economist & SVP at Hanley Wood; Luke Williams, professor of innovation at the NYU School of Business and executive director of Berkley Entrepreneurship Center, NYU; and John C. Goodman, president and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis.
