The Window & Door Manufacturers Association held its annual Executive Management Conference in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this month. Industry leaders from across the country came together to discuss and learn about the trends that will shape the window, door and skylight industry over the coming year.

Robert Tucker, best-selling author and founder of The Innovation Resource, opened the conference with a preview of his book, Driving Growth Through Innovation. Mark Boud, senior vice president and chief economist at Metrostudy, provided an economic forecast for 2016 and beyond for new construction, remodeling and replacement. The afternoon session by Robert Galford, leadership fellow in Executive Education at Harvard University, discussed the concept of “Simple Sabotage” and how business owners could minimize unproductive practices at their companies. Rhonda Kallman, CEO of Boston Harbor Distillery, closed out the conference with a presentation of her "Distribution Solution" and how she developed her winning formula.
