All Weather Honored with Energy Star Award
Natural Resources Canada has recognized All Weather Windows with the 2010 Energy Star Market Transformation Award for window, door and skylight manufacturers. The Alberta-based manufacturer was honored along with several other companies at an award ceremony in Ottawa last week.
“It is heartening to be recognized by Energy Star for our dedication to producing environmentally-friendly products,” said Gord Wiebe, All Weather CEO to the Edmonton Journal. “We are dedicated to preserving the environment and providing our customers with the highest quality products available.”
More than 95 percent of All Weather Window’s products are Energy Star qualified. Last year, the 800-employee company manufactured 1,955 different Energy Star-qualified products that are sold at more than 900 retail locations, and to 500 builders and contractors across Canada, the newspaper reported.
The Canadian government also honored Jeld-Wen Canada with a Sustained Excellence award for its long-term commitment to promoting Energy Star-rated products.
