On March 25, Edgetech I.G. was honored with three awards for its commitment to the health and safety of employees by the Guernsey-Noble Safety Council, an organization representing two Ohio counties.  Presented at the group's 12th annual safety luncheon, Edgetech’s three awards included the 100% Award, The Group Award and the Achievement Award.

“Safety is the top priority at all levels in our organizations,” said Wayne E. Burley, Health and Safety Manager for Edgetech’s parent company, Lauren International. “It is a great honor to be recognized as leaders in workplace safety and a testament to the dedication of employees. They are most deserving of these awards.”

The 100% Award is granted to companies in Guernsey and Noble Counties that work an entire year without a lost-time injury or illness. Edgetech also earned the Group Award for the lowest incident rate in each group and the Achievement Award for companies that decrease its incident rate by at least 25 percent from the previous year.
