Employees at Gorell Windows & Doors recently raised more than $3,400 to help the Indiana community fight cancer by participating in The Relay for Life, a 24-hour fundraising event that benefits the American Cancer Society.

Gorell employees coordinated several fundraising programs—including a Sheetz coupon sale, basket raffle, employee dress-down day and luminary sales for the Relay event—to raise part of the money. Some individuals also made personal donations to help Gorell’s team total, and the production workers’ Union IUE/CWA Local 88611 donated $500. The company matched all funds raised by employees, bring the company’s total donation to over $3,400.

Based in Indiana, Pa., Gorell manufactures windows for the replacement and new construction markets, and sells its products through dealers and distributors throughout the Eastern half of the country and beyond.
