Temple Named NFRC's First Member of the Year
The National Fenestration Rating Council presented its Member of the Year award to Roland Temple during its annual fall meeting early in November. Temple is the first recipient of the new award, which recognizes a member's contributions to the fenestration industry through actions that support NFRC's mission.
Temple is codes and standards manager for AZS Consulting Inc., based in Florida. He had represented Velux-America for many years within NFRC.
"We are pleased to recognize Mr. Temple's dedication and years of exceptional volunteer service to the NFRC," said Joe Hayden of Pella Corp. and current NFRC chair, who presented the award. "He exemplifies our efforts to find solutions using an inclusive, consensus-driven approach."
As 2008 Member of the Year, Temple received the NFRC Crystal Star and a free NFRC meeting registration to be used in the 2009 calendar year, including reimbursement of meeting expenses.
