Western Products Featured in Three Showcase Homes
Western Window Systems' products will be featured in three on-site bills at the upcoming Dwell on Design show, scheduled for June 21-24 in Los Angeles.
|LivingHome's C6 project|
Partnering with LivingHome on its new C6 project that will debut at event, Western Window Systems is supplying its Series 600 Sliding Glass Door, Series 600 Multi-Slide Door, a Series 600 Window Wall, as well as hinged doors, casements and awnings for the house. A LEED Platinum-level project, the next generation C6 donates a portion of each sale to the Make It Right Foundation (the non-profit co-founded by Brad Pitt and William McDonough in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina).
At the 2011 Dwell on Design show, one of the popular homes was a 520-square-foot prefab project produced by pieceHomes and ecofabulous. Featuring Western's Series 600 Sliding Glass Door as well as 700 Series Casements and Awnings, the Modern Living Showhouse hosted thousands of visitors. In fact, the project was so popular that Dwell is bringing it back for the 2013 show, Western officials note.
|jcpenney Prefab Home|
Another centerpiece of the 2013 Dwell on Design show will be the jcpenney Prefab Home, built by Method Homes and designed by Bogue Trondowski Architects, the window and door maker reports. The indoor-outdoor project features its Series 2600 Wood Multi-Slide Door.
