The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance is offering two new publications.  The first is its  the IGMA 25-Year Field Correlation Study and the second is the new IGMAC Glass Design Software Program for the Canadian market.

The field correlation report provides an update on the organization's research into long-term insulating glass unit performance in the field.  It includes results from the 10, 15 and 25 year marks of the study, and covers both residential and commercial products across climatic zones using a variety of common sealant systems.

“It’s incredible that members of an organization can have the vision to initiate a 25-year project and continue to fund it throughout the entire period and through many membership transitions. IGMA is the only organization with this level of detail on the long term performance of insulating glass units in the field.” states Margaret Webb, IGMA executive director.

The IGMAC Glass Design program for companies using the CGSB 12.20 standard has been
updated to fully comply with the 2005 National Building Code of Canada requirements.  One hour of technical support is included with the purchase of the software program, IGMA notes.

Both publications can be ordered at www.igmaonline.org.
