The upcoming meetings of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association's two regional groups will both feature tours to laboratory facilities, in addition to regular association business sessions.

AAMA's Western Region spring meeting, which will be held April 6-7 in Tempe, Ariz., will feature a tour of the Atlas Materials Testing Lab.  A chartered bus will take meeting attendees to the lab where they will receive a tour of an active outdoor weathering exposure test site, followed by a time for questions.

The Southeast Region spring meeting, which will be held May 3-4 in Charlotte, N.C., will feature a tour of the new Institute for Business and Home Safety facility that simulates hurricane conditions. The IBHS wind testing facility, capable of subjecting whole houses to hurricane-force winds, flying embers, and drenching simulated rain, became fully operational in October.

More information about the meetings can be found at the AAMA Web site.
