The National Fenestration Rating Council is hosting two webinars to update the industry on its  Component Modeling Approach (CMA) program for rating the energy performance of nonresidential products. Currently in its pilot phase, the CMA program is expected to be implemented in January 2010.

The free "CMA Pilot Project Update" webinars are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. EST
  • Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. EST

Each webinar will cover recent developments in the program, including a look at the CMA Software Tool (CMAST) and the CMA product certification program. The program also includes updates on NFRC outreach activities in the state of California.

The webinars also provide a venue for participants to ask questions and seek clarifications on CMA-related topics. More information about the webinars and registration is available on the CMA training page of the NFRC Web site.  The sessions will be recorded and posted to the NFRC Web site for those who will be unavailable to participate on November 11 or December 9.
