The National Fenestration Rating Council has revised its annual meeting cycle to include two meetings rather than three. This change will take effect during 2012.

This new cycle is a result of direct requests from many stakeholders who stated they didn’t have enough time to meet and invest the work needed  to move the NFRC’s important programs forward, explainsCheryl Gendron, NFRC meeting manager.  “We are hopeful this change will bring out the best in our talented and knowledgeable members,” she says. “The adjustment to two meetings, spaced out throughout the year, will allow over twenty weeks for our volunteers to meet at the task group level and present relevant, thorough ballots for incorporation into our program."

Meeting dates for 2012 include NFRC's spring committee week, scheduled from March 26-28 in Austin, Texas.  The organization's fall membership meeting will be held from October 1-4 in Portland, Ore.  More information is available on the NFRC website.
