Brent Fox  has been named chief executive officer of Hendricks Holding Co. and appointed to the board of directors of building products distributor ABC Supply Co.

A 30-year veteran of ABC Supply, Fox has served as the company’s vice president of national business development since 2011. He succeeds Diane Hendricks, chairman and co-founder of ABC Supply, as CEO of HHC. Hendricks will continue to serve as HHC’s chairman of the board.

Fox began his career with ABC Supply in 1983 as a truck driver and held a variety of branch positions before being promoted to branch manager in 1989. He joined the company’s national support center staff in 1994, successively serving as fleet manager, director of merchandising and purchasing, vice president of merchandising and purchasing, vice president of divisional operations and, ultimately, vice president of national business development.

“Throughout his career at ABC Supply, Brent has welcomed new challenges, accepted positions of increasing responsibility and achieved outstanding results,” Hendricks says. “That experience has prepared him well for these new roles, and I am confident that he will be a success in both.”

“Brent will be an outstanding addition to ABC’s board of directors and I look forward to his participation, adds David Luck, CEO of ABC Supply. "We’re delighted that we will continue to benefit from his experience, insight and perspective.”
