James Mishler has joined Champion Window at the manufacturer's new chief executive officer, according to a report in the Cincinnati Business Courier. He succeeds Dennis Manes, who has served as CEO of the home improvement company since 2007.

Donald Jones continue as president and COO of the Cincinnati-based manufacturer and retailer of replacement windows, doors and other products.

Mishler has more than 25 years of experience in the building products manufacturing and distribution industries, including positions at Lennox Industries, Pella Windows and Doors and Whirlpool Corp, it is reported. Most recently, he was president of Goodman Sales & Distribution at Goodman Global Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning products for residential and commercial markets.

“I’m honored and excited to join Don and the entire Champion Windows team, which has enjoyed a long history of success with its direct-to-consumer business model that delivers premium products at a wholesale value since its founding almost 60 years ago,” Mishler said in a news release. “With the best team in the industry, quality products, and unsurpassed customer service, Champion holds a significant competitive advantage in the industry. I see a tremendous opportunity to both grow the company organically and am committed to expansion into new markets.”
