NGA Names New Chairman

The National Glass Association, publisher of Window & Door, elected Chris Mammen as its chairman of the board at the recent GlassBuild America in Atlanta. Mammen, president of M3 Glass Technologies of Irving, Texas, has served on the board since 2006.

New executive officers are Chairman-elect Bill Evans of Evans Glass Co., Nashville, Tenn.; and Treasurer Robert Brown of Brown's Glass, York, Pa. Steve Burnett of Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall serve as immediate past chairman.

Board members returning for the 2010-2011 term are: Michael Albert, S Albert Glass Co. Inc., Beltsville, Md.; Bryan Bush, City Glass Co., Omaha, Neb.; Mark Dawson, Glass Doctor, Waco, Texas; Newton Little of Ace Glass Co. Inc., Little Rock, Ark.; David Steele, The Window Gallery, Augusta, Ga.; and Tom Trainor, Trainor Glass Co., Alsip, Ill.

Founded in 1948, NGA now represents nearly 2,200 member companies and locations in the flat glass and window and door industries.  In addition to publishing Window & Door, the organization publishes Glass Magazine, offers education and training programs and organizes GlassBuild America. The Window & Door Dealers Alliance, an organization for independent window and door dealers, is an initiative of the NGA.
