Paramount's Dudeck Passes Away

Stanley (Stan) Kenneth Dudeck, the president and founder of Winnipeg, Man.-based Paramount Windows & Doors Inc., passed away July 9, at the age of 84.

 

Beginning his working career as a teacher in Morris, Man., Dudeck's true passion was for carpentry. He began building homes in the 1940s and soon after opened Paramount Windows, a 2,400-square-foot facility in Winnipeg that serves today as the cornerstone of the manufacturer's current 100,000-square-foot operation.

Dudeck is credited with being a pioneer of triple-glazed window units, and he received multiple awards for his dedication to the industry and the community. He will be deeply missed by the employees at Paramount, as well as many friends and associates in the industry and business
community.
