WDMA Names New Leadership Team

The Window and Door Manufacturers Association installed its new leadership team today as it concluded its spring meeting and legislative conference in Washington, D.C. WDMA's board of directors elected Elaine Sagers of Pella Corp. as the association's 2011-2012 chair, replacing Steve Sisson of Karona Inc.

"In this challenging economic climate, WDMA stands as a strong advocate and friend for many hard-working manufacturers in the window, door and skylight industry," says Sagers, who serves as Pella's VP of marketing and customer service. "I am honored to serve as WDMA chair and look forward to providing continued strong leadership for WDMA and the companies it serves, including my team members at Pella Corp. and our partners who market Pella windows and doors."

Her creativity, passion and knowledge about the industry will be an incredible asset to the association as we continue to pursue an aggressive agenda to promote, protect and advance the window, door and skylight industry," says Michael O'Brien, WDMA president and CEO. The entire association benefited from his steady hand and guidance during these difficult economic times."
